Students
and staff members of SBP,celebrated the occasion of Eid on 24th
June in the school premises. Ms. Smita Waghmare (Class
teacher of Play Group) and Ms. Vidya (Class teacher of Primary-II)took over all
the responsibility of this event. Ex-student Mr. Khalid Kutty and parents of
Zoha, Mashroor and Rimsha contributed money for Shirkhurma which was prepared in the school by
a parent Ms Pushpa Mahske.
Mr Khalid explained
about the ritual and the pattern of prayer/Namaz and Rimsha gave a
speech on Eid.
Mrs. Vidya gave
information about Roza and how it is
followed in the month of Ramzan and related it with “Sagar” theme. Suffi songs were played in the background. All
students and staff members greeted each other “Eid Mubarak”
Mr Khalid Kutty,
Miss Zoha, Miss Rimsha and Mst Mashroor got “Edi“from school. All the students
and staff enjoyed the shirkurma at the end of the program.
The objective
of the celebration was to give practical experience to all the students
regarding the festival.
