On the occasion of World Disability day a Fun Fair was
organised on 7th of December for the students of all three units of
Swami Brahmanand Pratishthan.
Fun Games and creative art stalls were put up in the school
and managed by teachers. The students accompanied by parents attended the funfair.
There were four game stalls with interesting and fun games
keeping in mind the ability level of the students. There were games to test
their ability to think and act, reasoning, memory, physical abilities and
creativity. The creative art stalls had mehendi, nail art, tattoo, paper bag
and greeting card making . every child was given a coupon which was exchanged
at every stall for an activity. This was a learning opportunity for the
students. Prizes were given at every stall. A lucky draw was also arranged and
many prizes given for the lucky numbers. Snacks were given to the students. The
snacks were sponsored by a parent and Gifts were sponsored by Inner wheel clubs
of Sunrise and New Bombay Hillside. As a part of the disability week program
the Funfair was arranged to make the day an enjoyable one for the students.
